Great ambience, decor is very welcoming, loads of plants and love the use of suitcases and drawers. Food was very good, and the serving staff, brilliant. Definitely will stop in again on our next visit to Ballarat.
We arrived today and the first place we tried was Aunty Jacks, a great way to start our adventure in Ballarat! So many cool vibes as soon as you enter this brewery. We were looked after by Mary who was amazing and very attentive. In fact all of the staff here are very friendly and a delight to deal with. We ordered a prawn pizza with chorizo, chilli, tomato and mascarpone which had just the right amount of spice to it. The interior is quirky with relaxed chairs and an open fire as you walk in. Going upstairs there is a whole wall of suitcases and drawers to look at where the brewery vats are. It’s great to see a business that is so sustainable too. If you are in Ballarat, you would be mad to miss this place!
Everything about this place was amazing. Every single staff member we dealt with were extremely nice. The food was reasonably priced, served very quickly and tasted unreal. The drinks were also very nice.
This popped up on our radar as part of Ballarat's Foto Exhibition and was honestly a highlight of our day. We were greeted by one of the most friendly servers I've ever met and our bartender put a lot of thought into the order of our flights. We weren't there for the food, but it was very yummy and paired beautifully with the beer. The space itself is gorgeous and I felt like we were sitting outside amongst all the plants.
Had an amazing experience at Aunty Jack's today.
I heard about this place from the resort we're staying at (Wyndham Ballarat) and made a booking for lunch.
The service is exceptional, the food is delicious (I had the prawn pizza & my partner had the Jack's burger). We decided to try a tasting paddle and the beers were good, and a little different.
The atmosphere is fun and unique.
Thank you everyone at Aunty Jack's for a wonderful and memorable experience.
We will definitely be back when next in Ballarat 🍻
The food and scenery was amazing and our waitress went out of her way to provide the best service for our work Christmas party! Defiantly will be recommending it in the future :)
Fabulous unique decor. Best open fires. Toasty and warm inside. Magnificent food, rhubarb a little underdone but the Panna Cotta was beautiful. Haloumi burger This place is brilliant. I would definitely recommend it.
Fabulous staff, decor and atmosphere..this is a great hangout.best beer I've ever had (mid strength) great tasty perfectly cooked
chips...
Loved the burger served on the tray.
Disappointed in the beef burger patty. It tasted as though the meat had been in a processor, then squashed together densely, then cooked. The middle was also undercooked
Patty was thoroughly tasteless(no onion, herbs, flavouring in it...strange)..we both only ate half the meat...the rest of the burger was very tasty and well put together...
Will be back for chips and a beer cos place looks so good....
